Day 1 recap

Orientation was fun. There are 7 other volunteers that also started on Monday. We are all excited and trying to go with the flow as some last minute details are sorted out.
I knew my roommate and I would get along great when we both wanted to hit the Medina in the afternoon. What better way to learn the city than shop through it!
The Medina was interesting and a mix goods from local artists and everyday items like eggs and produce.
After a couple of hours wandering through the maze of stalls we ventured out to the river. The boats and the setting sun provided a nice photo op.
Breakfast time here in Rabat so I better get moving. I heard something about chocolate and bread being served this morning.
