MaryAnne and I witnessed 11 people pile into a car equivalent of a Scion. 3 people in the front, 4 people in the backseat and 4 people in the trunk. The driver was the 12th passenger. We have been laughing about it all day. Hopefully it will rain again tomorrow and we can have a stake out at a coffee shop to capture this hilarious sight!
Today MaryAnne and I also visited our volunteer site. We will be working with young adults teaching english and teaching a painting class twice a week.
The food we have been eating has been wonderful. Tonight we had S'faa with noodles, cinnamon, almonds and raisins. We also had a vegetable soup. Here is a picture of my two roommates at dinner. Nicole is from Australia (left) and MaryAnne from Vancouver (right).
